Sometimes you need to step out of the restaurant to see it from a different perspective. This time, the Dřevný Kocůr management team headed to Zakopane, combining active team building with workshops dedicated to the further development of our restaurants.

First, together on the trail

We spent the first day being active. First, we set off by bike to Murowaniec, and then on foot to Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy. The mountain route required effort, but it also gave us plenty of good energy, laughter, and time for conversations that we don’t always find space for in the daily rhythm of work.

Such moments allow us to get to know each other better, build mutual trust, and look at our collaboration from a slightly different angle. Away from the restaurant, the rota, and daily duties, it’s easier to exchange insights and experiences from individual venues.

Workshops and exchange of experiences

We spent the next day at a shared table during intensive workshops. We talked about what is working well in our restaurants, as well as areas that require further work.

Managers shared solutions used in their venues and brainstormed how to better organise daily work, support teams, and consistently improve the quality of our guests’ visits.

Each Dřevný Kocůr restaurant has its own character and operates in slightly different conditions. The meeting allowed us to combine different perspectives and develop ideas that we will gradually implement in our venues.

Brand development starts with people

The trip to Zakopane was an opportunity for team building, but above all, it was an important element of working on the further development of Dřevný Kocůr. We returned with new energy, specific conclusions, and solutions intended to translate into the daily operation of our restaurants.

The effects of this work should be felt primarily by our guests — at the table, in the service, and throughout the entire experience of visiting Dřevný Kocůr.
