Sometimes you need to step out of the restaurant to look at it from a different perspective. This time, Dřevný Kocour’s management team travelled to Zakopane, combining active team-building with workshops dedicated to the further development of our restaurants.

First, a joint trek

We spent the first day actively. First, we cycled to Murowaniec, then hiked to Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy. The mountain route required effort, but it also gave us a lot of good energy, laughter, and time for conversations that we don’t always find space for in the daily rhythm of work.

Such moments allow us to get to know each other better, build mutual trust, and look at cooperation from a slightly different angle. Outside the restaurant, schedule, and daily duties, it’s easier to exchange observations and experiences from individual venues.

Workshops and exchange of experiences

We spent the next day around a shared table during intensive workshops. We discussed what works well in our restaurants, as well as areas that require further work.

Managers shared solutions used in their venues and collectively considered how to better organise daily work, support teams, and consistently improve the quality of our guests’ visits.

Each Dřevný Kocour restaurant has its own character and operates under slightly different conditions. The meeting allowed us to combine different perspectives and develop ideas that we will gradually implement in our venues.

Brand development starts with people

The trip to Zakopane was an opportunity for team-building, but above all, it was an important element of working on the further development of Dřevný Kocour. We returned with new energy, concrete conclusions, and solutions that are intended to translate into the daily functioning of our restaurants.

The effects of this work should be felt primarily by our guests – at the table, in service, and in the entire experience associated with a visit to Dřevný Kocour.
